Regarding the factors that affect the life of the electrode, we TISTAR summarized 8 points. Today, we will introduce the first point and will update it in the future.

The main reason is the nature of the electrolyte.

1. Iridium-tantalum coated titanium electrodes are mainly used in strong oxidizing electrolytes, such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and hydrogen peroxide;

2. Ruthenium-iridium coated titanium electrodes are used in tap water, dilute salt water, and general sewage environments, and the pH value is close to neutral or alkaline. For example, when used in strong acid environments, the service life will be less than 14 days.
