Titanium anodes are commonly used in the chlor-alkali industry, in the electroplating industry, and in water treatment. Mainly refers to the coating of a noble metal oxide coating with high electrochemical catalytic properties on a titanium substrate (mesh, plate, ribbon, tube, etc.) with a highly stable valve metal oxide. Titanium anode has high electrochemical catalytic energy. The oxygen evolution overpotential is about 0.5 V lower than that of lead alloy insoluble anode. It has remarkable energy saving, high stability, no pollution to the plating solution, light weight and easy replacement. Therefore, titanium anode is widely used in various electroplating. Used as an anode or auxiliary anode, it can replace the conventional lead-based alloy anode. Under the same conditions, the tank voltage can be reduced and power consumption can be saved. The insoluble titanium anode has good stability during electroplating (chemical, electrochemical). ,long lasting. This anode is widely used in nickel plating gold plating, chrome plating, galvanizing, copper plating and other non-ferrous metals industries.
The shape of the titanium anode is relatively large. The small sample introduced today is used for sewage treatment. It is composed of two anodes and one cathode, M5*50mm binding posts, and 2.5mm thick titanium plates.
